| Responsibilities |
Marketing Representative -- WELLNESS is a sales position responsible for identifying and contacting prospective clients, generating sales proposals, and servicing existing accounts. Ensures quality and consistency of service and/or product delivery. Manages sales of the Agency's Wellness products and services in a fairly large geographic area, and establishes effective communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to Wellness sales needs. Consistently maintains sales quota and action standards, as outlined by the Division. Prospects aggressively and develops new customers through the use of cold calls, follow up letters, and telephone calls leading to appointments. Prepares action plans and schedules to identify specific targets and to project number of contacts to be made; follows up on new leads and referrals resulting from field and web activity. Identifies and qualifies sales prospects and decision makers, and contacts these and other accounts as assigned. Cultivates sustained, long term relationships with the key employees of targeted companies at all appropriate levels. Establishes rapport and maintains contact with contract customers, existing customers, and new customers within a specified sales territory. Develops a strong understanding of customer’s core objectives and challenges, in order to properly match the Agency’s products and services with their needs. Works as part of the sales team to respond to inbound inquiries as necessary, and makes the volume of outbound calls necessary to exceed quotas, targets, and/or performance goals and develops the territory. Develops and supervises the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs; prepares for and attends exhibits, conferences, meetings, and other local and regional promotional opportunities. Confidently delivers an explanation of product and service features and benefits, and the Agency’s ability to deliver to customer expectations. Develops and maintains an accurate Customer Contact Database for customer and prospect information. Prepares paperwork to activate and maintain contract services; oversees account services through quality checks and other follow-up; identifies and resolves client concerns. Prepares a variety of status reports, including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals; reports on special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity. Maintains and submits neat and accurate reports in a timely fashion, including transmission of daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual activity. |

| Minimum Qualifications |
Bachelor's degree preferred in marketing or related business field, or a combination of education and applicable experience. Minimum 2 years successful sales background (in medical related products preferred), and Proven ability to effectively sell to manager and C-level decision makers. Experience with Sales Force Automation software (CRM), and proficient with administrative software (e.g. MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to communicate medical and technical information to nonmedical audience. Multi-lingual is desirable. |
